What Is School ERP Software?

School ERP software is the operational system a school uses every day: who is enrolled, who is present, what is due, which bus a child rides, and what parents need to see. It is the same idea as a school management system, with stronger emphasis on connected modules rather than separate spreadsheets.

Mark student attendance by class, including bulk and exception-first marking. Import biometric or device punch CSVs when you already use fingerprint or RFID machines. Teachers and admins work from the web dashboard.

Teacher Management

Invite teachers with a temporary password, assign classes and subjects, and give each teacher a portal for attendance, homework, and class work. Seat limits follow the school’s subscription plan.

Parent Portal

Parents sign in with phone and password to see linked children: attendance, fees, notices, and related school updates. They can pay fees online when Razorpay is enabled for the school.

School Bus & Transport Management

Set bus routes, assign drivers and attendants, and give transport staff a portal for boarding and safety checklists. Parents see transport information for linked students. Browser location can be used on a trip; this is not a dedicated always-on GPS hardware tracker.

Communication & Notifications

Schools send notices, in-app alerts, and email invites (temporary passwords) from the web platform. SMS and WhatsApp delivery are not claimed as live send channels.

AI-Powered School Management

A role-aware AI assistant answers questions from school records — in local languages where possible. Students only see their own data; parents only see linked children. It does not invent grades or replace the teacher.

Reports & Analytics

Admins can review attendance, fees, and operational summaries from the dashboard. Reports stay inside the school tenant and are not public search pages.
